“ Food was bomb. All the food we ordered was made fresh and hot. My husband ordered his usual shaggy dog roll and it was the best he’s ever had. We didn’t even get the chance to take a pic because we devoured it so quickly. We also ordered their chicken and pork katsu and those items came out hot (temp wise). The batter was light and crunchy. Highly recommend. I also HIGHLY recommend their yellowtail jalapeno. It’s divine. My husband does not like raw fish, but this is the only raw fish he eats. The restaurant is still new so the service could be a bit better. We had to get the attention of our server a few times, but they did take our orders with a sense of urgency, which we liked. We finally found our sushi spot! ”

“ I visited for lunch. They have an extensive menu with great Happy Hour options. Restaurant is smaller in size but decent vibe with TV’s. They have hibachi options but NOT hibachi tables (don’t think Benihana style seating, food is cooked in kitchen and brought to the table). I got the filet mignon with chicken fried rice to go and it was really good. I had a trainee waitress but service was still pretty good. If you don’t see a roll on the menu, you can request it for an upcharge. ”

“ Sapporo is conveniently located off Hwy 6 and Fort Bend Toll right next door to Tao Tao Tea house which I found out later is partnered up with Sapporo. We were greeted at the door and told that we could sit anywhere we wanted. The music was at the perfect volume where conversations could be heard across the tables. After being seated, it was only minutes later that our server came over to take the order. She was very sweet and later came back at the appropriate times to check if anything was needed. She asked if we had been there before and proceeded to tell us how the all-you-can eat option works. I wasn't hungry enough to eat all I could within the 2 hours given, so I opted for a la carte. I ordered the shaggy dog and shrimp shumai (deep fried). The shaggy dog is shrimp tempura and cucumber topped with crab, spicy mayo and eel sauce. It was very tasty. Even the pickled ginger was somehow better than what I've had before. The fried shrimp shumai wasn't greasy and the citrus soy served with it was a nice addition. The next time I'm craving sushi, I'll be sure not to eat too much throughout the day because in my opinion, the all-you-can eat during dinner hours is worth it for 32.95. ”
